About EUCOCIT
EUCOCIT is a not for profit, volunteer
association, affiliated to the European Delegation of the European Commission
to Canada, in Ottawa and is dedicated to promoting bi-lateral trade
and investment between Canada and the EU. EUCOCIT events and activities
provide outstanding networking and marketing opportunities for companies
looking to build awareness of their products and services to business
leaders, decision-makers and potential buyers in Toronto and throughout
Canada
With the strength of 21 active member
countries (and still growing) through their Toronto based Chambers
of Commerce and Business Associations, and in partnership with the World
Trade Centre @ the Toronto Board of Trade, we promote all events to
an average 5,000 associated members.
9 times every year the European Business
Club (EBC) has become the scheduled destination for more than
120 multi-national executives, to network and exchange business card
in a friendly “wine and cheese” setting and atmosphere at the Toronto
World Trade Centre.. The annual Economic Outlook has become a destination
and a forum for important speakers (Bank Governors, top Economists and
senior Diplomats), and we are currently increasing the number of events
and seminars of relevance and major interest to our members.
This year, on October 17th, the EU Canada
Summit will take place in Montreal, where Prime Minister Stephen Harper
& France’s President Sarkozy (during its Presidency of the EU)
will conclude the next round of talks to expand agreements between Canada
and the EU which will influence everybody doing business with Europe.
EUCOCIT will be leading the way to explain how this will influence Canadian business to this vital market.
